Grief changes your life. It brings you to a standstill, throws you off balance, and can raise questions for which you sometimes can’t find the words. That’s why we at Mantelzorg Moerdijk are launching, in collaboration with Zinvol – Center for Life Questions, a new series of meetings: Grief & Resilience. Four moments in which we’ll explore together how to cope with loss, how to regain strength, and how to gently pick up the thread of life again.
🌼 Who is this for?
For anyone who has lost a loved one and is looking for understanding, support, or a safe place to share their experiences. You don’t need to prepare anything or explain anything. You’re welcome to come just as you are.
🤝 What can you expect?
During these four sessions, you’ll engage in conversation with others in similar situations, guided by two experienced spiritual counselors. We’ll explore topics such as:
- Grief and Emotions: the multitude of emotions that loss brings
- Resilience: How to Regain Strength During a Time of Grief
- Memories: Reflecting, cherishing, and making room
- Future: Looking Ahead Cautiously and Finding Meaning
📅 Dates and times
All meetings are from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at 153 De Lindonk, Zevenbergen.
- September 16
- October 28
- November 18
- December 9
💬 Why this series?
We had previously planned to organize a gathering on grief and loss, but unfortunately it had to be canceled. Now we’re taking a broader and more relaxed approach, with a series of sessions in which we’ll gradually create space for both grief and resilience. A place where you can share, listen, be silent, laugh, cry—whatever you’re feeling in the moment.
